The Novemb3r SS13 collection is looking awesome and the D&A MAN show!
For black ltd edition, entrepreneur Alejandro Alcocer sources well-maintained vintage Rolex watches with the patina that reflects their age. Working with a Rolex trained watchmaker in Geneva, the watches are bed blasted to deep clean. They are then sent to the States to be put through a PDV coating process. Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) has been around for decades primarily in medical and military applications originally designed to decrease friction wear on metal parts. It bonds a micron thick layer of metal compounds to metal and other materials to create a black matte finish. Diamond Like Coating (DLC) is also applied to increase strength. PVD and DLC coated watches will continue to increase in value with time.

D&A MAN is excited to announce our launch collaboration with the talented Matt Winter for this year’s show at Cedar Lake. Below we have included a short bio on Matt, and make sure to check back in the weeks ahead for some images of his past amazing work!
Matt Winter, who will be creating an installation for the launch of D&A MAN is no stranger to design, Matt’s family comes from a long lineage of creative personalities. His grandfather created the incredibly lucrative, “Lancer of California,” clothing line which was continued on by Matt’s father up through the eighties. A 50+ year operation, Matt does not hide the fact that he was raised in an affluent environment. What he does make clear is that whether or not his patriarch’s success could have bolstered his opportunities. Matt makes it clear he’s worked for everything he’s got. Raised with the mentality that nothing comes without hard work, Matt began building top notch hot rods for profit at the mere age of 15.

Giorgio Brato, a talented Italian born designer will be one of the many amazing exhibitors showing this july at the D&A MAN launch. Here is a quick description of the dedication involved with making a Giorgio Brato collection.
“The craftsmanship aspect of the designer’s production endows the collection with a refined look and a lived-in feel.
